By using this website or receiving veterinary services from Park Plaza Animal Clinic (operated by Park Plaza Animal Clinic, PC), you agree to these terms.

1. Use of This Website

The content on this website is general information about our services. It is not veterinary medical advice and does not replace an examination by a veterinarian. Never delay care for a sick or injured pet because of something you read here.

2. No Veterinarian-Client-Patient Relationship Through the Website

Using this website, submitting a form or sending an email does not create a veterinarian-client-patient relationship. Under Texas law, that relationship requires a veterinarian to examine your pet and be familiar with its condition. We cannot diagnose conditions or prescribe medication for a pet we have not examined.

3. Appointments

Appointment requests submitted through this website are requests, not confirmed appointments. Your appointment is not fully booked until you get a confirmation from us.

We ask for advance notice if you need to cancel or reschedule.

We may need to reschedule when a patient in the clinic needs a doctor's immediate attention, and we will contact you as soon as we know.

4. Emergency Care

Park Plaza Animal Clinic is not an emergency hospital. For after-hours care, contact Veterinary Emergency Hospital of Midlothian, 1507 N US Hwy 67, Midlothian, TX 76065, (214) 817-1880, or another 24-hour emergency hospital. For problems that are not life-threatening, Veterinary Emergency Hospital of Arlington offers urgent care at 5300 S Cooper St #100, Arlington, TX 76017, (469) 846-8588. Referral information is provided for convenience; we do not operate or control any referral hospital.

5. Payment

Payment is expected when services are rendered. We do not bill.

Estimates are a good-faith projection, not a fixed quote. If we find something during a procedure that changes what is needed, we will contact you whenever possible before going beyond the estimate.

Packages (such as Puppy and Kitten Packages) are paid in full at the first visit and expire 6 months after purchase.

Referral credits are not redeemable for cash.

6. Medical Records

Medical records created by our practice belong to the practice. You are entitled to a copy of your pet’s records, and we will send records to another veterinarian at your request.

7. Prescriptions

Prescriptions require a current veterinarian-client-patient relationship under Texas law.

Refills may require a recheck exam or current bloodwork.

We provide written prescriptions on request.

We are not responsible for medications bought from third-party sellers. Manufacturer guarantees on preventives generally apply only to products purchased through a veterinarian.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Texas law, Park Plaza Animal Clinic and its owners, employees and agents are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use of this website or from services provided. Veterinary medicine cannot guarantee outcomes. We provide care consistent with accepted professional standards, but we cannot guarantee the result of any treatment, procedure or test.

9. Consent to Treatment

By bringing a pet in for care, you confirm that you are the owner or the owner’s authorized agent and consent to examination and treatment as discussed. Separate written consent is obtained for anesthesia and surgery.

10. Boarding and Unclaimed Pets

Pets not picked up at the agreed time, without contact from the owner, may be handled as abandoned animals under Texas law after the required notice period, and boarding charges will continue to apply.

11. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, images and logos, belongs to Park Plaza Animal Clinic or its licensors and may not be reproduced without permission.

12. Third-Party Links

This website links to third-party sites, including financing partners and educational resources. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of Tarrant County, Texas.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms at any time. The Effective Date at the top reflects the latest version.
